The best communities support Law Enforcement, have good schools, and have good D.A.s and Judges that keep citizens safe from repeat offenders

As a legislator, I will be committed to moving Nevada in that direction

My Goals

Supporting Law Enforcement

I learned while living in Orange County, Ca for 38 yrs, that having a police department the community can trust requires support and engagement from the community. I plan to support adequate funding for law enforcement and promote while expanding community engagement with law enforcement

Expanding read by 3rd Grade

Keeping kids in school reduces crime and improves our communities while maintaining property values and improving businesses. I will expand ‘The Read by 3rd Grade’ program into libraries, parks, 1st responders and informing parents of remedial resources

Prosecuting Crime

Judges and D.A.s in Nevada complain that laws are too lax to prosecute hardened criminals when the time comes. I will support legislation to prosecute hardened criminals when it is appropriate

Reducing Homelessness

Homelessness is becoming unmanageable due to fentanyl, property and shopping center owners not enforcing their trespassing rights and inadequate channeling of homelessness resources. I plan to focus on reducing drugs on our streets, stiffer fines for uncooperative owners and getting homeless people more engaged with care centers

Improving small business

Safe communities, low taxes and low licensing fees improve business. I plan to improve safety in business areas, reduce business taxes and fees for new and existing businesses

Promote fiscal Responsibility

I will be a fiscal watchdog to reduce over spending . I will vote against and call out policy which leads to irresponsible spending and over spending. The last thing Nevada needs is a budget deficit like some Democratic run states.

Diversifying our Economy

Safe communities and education diversify the economy, I learned this while being an Electronics Engineer in Irvine, Ca (Hi Tech center) area for 38 yrs. I plan to encourage our safest communities like Henderson to attract hi-tech businesses first, then expanding that growth to our inner city communities
